This Cookie Policy explains how BeHooked uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit our website, documentation, or dashboard.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your session, preferences and security state across page loads. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do the same job.
This website
The marketing website and documentation use:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Signing in and security checks when you use the sign-in screens. |
| Analytics | Understanding how the site is used — pages viewed and, where enabled, session recordings — through PostHog. |
| Diagnostics | Reporting errors so that failures can be found and fixed, through Sentry. |
If you mark a help article as useful or not, that answer is stored in your own browser so we do not ask you again on the same page.
The dashboard
The dashboard is an authenticated application and needs cookies to work.
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeping you signed in, verifying your session, and protecting against abuse. Without them you cannot sign in. |
| Functional | Remembering your workspace, interface preferences and recent selections. |
| Analytics & diagnostics | Product analytics, including session recordings, and error reporting, so we can understand usage and fix failures. |
We do not host advertising networks on the website or the dashboard.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies and site data. Clearing them for our domains removes everything described above. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard, and blocking other cookies may affect how the service works.
For questions about how we use cookies, contact support@behooked.ai. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
